View Biography Show lessDr. Garlick received her undergraduate degree from Alma College in Alma, MI and her Medical Degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. She completed her Medical Internship and Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn, MI (now known as Beaumont Hospital – Dearborn).
Dr. Garlick then went on to a Breast Imaging Fellowship at University Hospitals – Case Medical Center in Cleveland, OH.
Following her Breast Imaging Fellowship, Dr. Garlick began work at Radiology Muskegon, PC in 2014. She is also Medical Director of the Mercy Health Muskegon Comprehensive Breast Center.
Dr. Garlick is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Strainer then went on to obtain a Neuroradiology Fellowship Certification at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Following his Neuroradiology Fellowship, Dr Strainer began work at Radiology Muskegon, PC. He has been working there since 1996 and has been President of the Radiology Muskegon group since 2011.

View Biography Show lessDr. Stephenson received his BS in biology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. After undergraduate studies Dr. Stephenson attended medical school in Missouri at Kirksville College of Medicine. He completed his rotating internship and diagnostic radiology residency through Michigan State campus wide system at Beaumont-Botsford Hospital. He was board certified in 2008.
Following residency Dr. Stephenson became an active duty Army radiologist and practiced at Evans Army hospital in Colorado Springs Colorado. He served as chief of the ultrasound and CT scan departments as well as the women’s imaging center. Dr. Stephenson also worked with Walter Reed army hospital conducting research imaging on soldiers with PTSD. During his time in Colorado Dr. Stephenson received extensive training in trauma radiology, which he needed for his deployment to Iraq in 2010 as chief of radiology for the 14th Combat Support Hospital in Baghdad Iraq. Dr. Stephenson also served as the theater wide radiology consultant for the entire country of Iraq at this time providing specialized interpretations for other radiologists. Dr. Stephenson received the Army Commendation medal and Iraq campaign medal for his service. He also received the global war on terror campaign medal.
After his army commitment had ended, Dr. Stephenson received an honorable discharge and moved back to his native Michigan with his wife and 2 daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, boating, playing golf, skiing, and traveling. He has been working at Radiology Muskegon since 2012.

View Biography Show lessDr. Wilcox is a proud graduate of Mona Shores High School. Dr. Wilcox received his Bachelor of Science with high honors from The University of Michigan in 1986. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Michigan School of Medicine in 1990. He completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1994, during which time he also served as chief resident. Dr. Wilcox then went on to complete a body imaging fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in 1995.
Following his Fellowship, Dr. Wilcox began work at Radiology Muskegon, PC., where he had the pleasure of working with his father, Richard T Wilcox MD until the senior Dr. Wilcox retired. He served as Section Chief of Radiology at Hackley Hospital from 2002 – 2008. He has served as Medical Director of Imaging at Mercy Health Muskegon from 2008 to present. He was the Chief of Staff at Mercy Health Muskegon from 2014 – 2016.

View Biography Show lessDr. Shields received her BS in Biomedical Sciences and Neuroscience from Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant, MI in 2007. After undergraduate studies, Dr. Shields attended medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine graduating in 2011, where she received many awards and honors including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Society. She completed her Transitional Year Internship at St. John’s Hospital, Detroit, MI in 2012 and her Radiology Residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester, NY in 2016, where she was elected to serve as Chief Resident. She then pursued a Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI graduating in 2017.
Dr. Shields has published and presented many peer reviewed papers and research projects, several of which have received awards at the national level.
She was board certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2017.
Dr. Shields joined Radiology Muskegon, PC in 2017. She lives in Norton Shores, MI with her husband, who is an orthopaedic surgeon, and 3 children. She enjoys spending time with her family, bowling, playing piano, musical theater, and travel.

She then completed her internship and diagnostic radiology residency at Detroit Medical Center’s Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital. Following residency, Dr. Sneider completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Sneider joined Radiology Muskegon, PC in January 2019. She is very happy to be back in her home state after spending the first years of her career in Southern Louisiana. She enjoys hiking, boating, traveling and cooking with her husband and son.
