Work at Radiology Muskegon
Why work here? We've got five reasons.
A Better Work-Life Balance
There’s a dreaded word in the healthcare industry: burnout. We do everything to prevent it—in a lot of different ways.
We prioritize work-life balance by ending our workdays at 4pm, so that we never miss a dinner with family or those important evening activities. We have implemented a hybrid practice model, which means we work a majority of our shifts at home and in outpatient settings—and a smaller percentage at the hospital. You’ll never work an overnight shift at Radiology Muskegon.
When you consider our 27 inland lakes, 26 miles of Lake Michigan waterfront, 400 miles of rivers, and acres of woods and dunes, living in Muskegon or the Grand Haven areas might become the best decision you’ve ever made. Whether it’s the low cost of living, the great schools, or the state parks, you will love it here. We invite you to come explore our home.
An Ownership Stake
At Radiology Muskegon, you will never be just another number. You will be an equally valued partner. From the president of the corporation to the most junior partner, we all benefit from our collective success—equal voting rights, equal vacation time, equal pay and benefits. We offer expedited partnership tracking. Because we’re privately owned, we determine our own schedules, vacations, and compensation. You’ll even own shares in our downtown Muskegon building, which has active cash flow and tenants.
Practice Your Way
Every radiologist has unique training, skills, and experience. Our work schedules are customized to highlight the strengths of our radiologists and maximize efficiency. Whether you are a general radiologist or a subspecialist, we’ve got you covered. You will be able to read cases suited to your strengths and preferences. No minimum case or RVU requirements. We share workflow equally.
Major Hospital Support
Although we’re independent, we’re closely aligned with Trinity Health, one of the largest healthcare systems in the nation. Our relationship with Trinity Health provides us with the security and robust support a smaller radiology group requires to succeed. Our technology is second to none. We have access to state-of-the-art equipment—including 3 Tesla MRI units, 128-Slice CT capability, new fluoroscopy and ultrasound equipment, and the latest 3D tomosynthesis imaging for all of our breast imaging.

Established in 1968, Radiology Muskegon is a physician-owned, private practice radiology group consisting of 14 radiologists and support staff providing diagnostic medical imaging services to the people of West Michigan. We provide a comprehensive array of advanced medical imaging services, expert consultation, and imaging-guided interventional therapies. We have access to the most advanced and innovative imaging technology in West Michigan, allowing us to accurately diagnose and treat our patients.
Radiology Muskegon is committed to excellence. We have board-certified fellowship-trained radiologists subspecializing in Body Imaging, Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Ultrasound, Women’s Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology.
We are the primary radiology group with exclusive rights to provide imaging services to all of the Trinity Health Muskegon, Grand Haven, and Shelby patients. Our contract provides the long-term security necessary for a small group to succeed. Yet as an independent private practice group, we maintain the autonomy to determine our own schedules, call requirements, compensation, and vacation. We have a hybrid practice model that allows us to work many of our day shifts and call shifts from home.
This is more than a career. It’s a lifestyle. The West Michigan area offers the best of all worlds. We are a waterfront community with a low cost of living, four beautiful seasons offering year-round activities, and close proximity to universities, big cities, and international airports.
